Strategic acquisition of Mist Systems, bringing AI-driven wireless assurance and virtual network assistant technology. This transformational move positioned Juniper as the leader in AI-native networking.

2020

Apstra & 128 Technology

Acquired Apstra for intent-based data center fabric automation and 128 Technology for Session Smart SD-WAN, completing the AI-driven, full-stack networking portfolio.

2026

AI-Native Networking at Scale

With 420+ patents, 2,800 employees across 85 countries, and Mist AI managing millions of network devices, Juniper continues to redefine what networking can achieve.

What Drives Us

Engineering Excellence

We invest 12% of revenue in R&D because better engineering creates better outcomes. Every product reflects our commitment to reliability, performance, and security at the protocol level.

Customer Obsession

We measure success by customer experience, not just product specifications. Mist AI was born from the belief that networks should serve users, not the other way around.

Open Standards

Active participation in IEEE, IETF, O-RAN Alliance, and OpenConfig reflects our conviction that open, interoperable standards drive faster industry innovation than proprietary lock-in. Our engineers hold over 120 active working group chairs and co-authorships across these standards bodies as of 2025.
